Celtic Issue Warning Over Scammers

Celtic have issued a fresh warning over fears that scammers have been targeting the club’s shareholders.
Hoops chiefs claim that fraudsters have been active in the run-up to the AGM on November 20, urging shareholders to increase their shareholding as the club was a 'stick on'  to qualify for the later rounds of the Europa League.
In a statement, the club said:
“Shareholders should be extremely wary of any unsolicited advice, offers, approaches or other communications regarding their shares and/or personal information.”
The club added: '' We continue to encourage Celtic shareholders to be vigilant. If the call persists, try and get the person's contact details and pass the information on to the nearest mental health facility. They're clearly either deranged or are Rangers fans trying to wind us up. Either way, Gartnavel would be the best place for them".
